Gummy snacks are one of the most popular forms of cannabis edibles – but traditional gummy recipes call for gelatin which makes them off limits for our vegan friends. Fortunately, you can make your own vegan cannabis gummies at home just by switching gelatin out for a different ingredient: agar powder.
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Agar Powder
2 Tablespoons Cannabis Tincture
1 Cup Fruit Juice
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
What You Will Need:
Liquid Dropper
Measuring Spoons
Saucepan
Silicon Molds
Whisk
Directions:
In a saucepan combine fruit juice, lemon juice, and maple syrup over medium-low heat.
Next add your cannabis tincture and slowly whisk in the agar powder.
Continue whisking until all ingredients are smoothly blended. Turn off heat.
Using a dropper, fill your silicon molds with the hot gummy liquid.
Chill in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
This recipe will yield 155 pieces using 2.1 mL silicon candy molds. When using a Cannabis Tincture with a cannabinoid concentration of 33.3mg per mL each gummy will contain approximately 6.5mg of cannabinoids.
